The California Tavern
We have an exciting programme of QUALITY bands lined up for 2010. We have two regular bands, The Glamtastics who are exclusive to The California Tavern in this area, and are here every month, and Bleaky and The Bop Cats who are here every other month. All the other bands are booked so as not to appear more often than once every three months.
For example from January to March, we have 23 different bands.
We have tried to cater for all tastes, and believe we have something for everyone. Bands range in style from 40's Swing to 50's rock'n'roll, 60's pop, classic 70's, through Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, Jive, Rock, Soul, and classic and modern day Pop. Just some of the bands booked for 2010 include :
